Penelope was bred for the "Argentine type." She is fifty percent Argentine, her sire is Argentine Saltarin, who was one of the few males to be picked for importation from Argentina. Penelope's dam Christe was also imported and has the Argentine bone however she is 100 percent Chilean, so Penelope is 50% Chilean/Argentine. Penelope has dense fiber and very colorful fiber she has the Argentine Red, mixed with gray, copper and white... Her disposition is sweet and gentle, she was born a few weeks early and is just starting to catch up.
